Synek: Make any beer, anywhere

Synek

This is not a gimmick. So take a second to catch your breath, and let us introduce you to Synek, the guys that have made it possible for you to have any beer you want from the comfort of your own home.

Replacing traditional methods of packaging craft beers, the Synek method involves filling up one-gallon bags of whichever particular drink you want before pumping in your own carbonation using the variable pressure valve. You then place the bag in a cartridge which slots into the dispenser, giving you perfect craft beer. The great thing is that you don’t even have to finish that particular bag if you want to switch to another tasty beverage. Variety is one of the biggest selling points at Synek, as they have done away with the restraint of breweries only being able to fill one bottle of one particular beer at a time. The remaining beer also lasts for up to an impressive 30 days without any loss of carbonation.

You fill the bags by taking them to your local brewery and, using the Synek tap adapter, they will be able to fill up your bag just as easily as they would their own growlers.

Here’s how…

Still waiting for the catch? You’ll be here for some time.

The actual machine is no ‘bigger or heavier’ than a toaster oven and it keeps your beer at the perfect temperature. So not only is it kitchen-friendly and portable, it frees up space in the fridge for that all important takeaway that you’ll want for breakfast the next day.

The Synek dispenser is expected to go on sale in 2015 at a retail price of $349, but for those that back the project on Kickstarter, they can enjoy the lower price of $299. The group have also pledged that they will try and keep the price of each cartridge down to just $1. There are 9 days to go to back this genius idea, worth it for that pre-sale price, we think.
