Future Tech:

This is what happens in an internet minute

The internet is massive and overwhelming. Even when we think that we have a handle on the mess of Facebook statuses, tweets, emails, Google searches, Instagram photos and Vines that make up everyday life, take just a couple of steps back and we begin to feel very small.

Last year, for instance, there were 3,028,523,000 internet users (that’s 40.4% of world population), all communicating through a few massive social networks, and many more that aren’t so big. So, what does all that activity look like on a minute-by-minute basis? The below infographic from Tech Spartan breaks down the internet minute, showing exactly how we spend it and how it’s changed from the previous year.
