This diddy drone is tiny enough to land on your pinky
We’ve seen some diddy drones in our time, but a new quadcopter made by Dutch company TRNDlabs might just be the smallest yet. The compact SKEYE Pico Drone measures just 0.87 inches each way (2.2 cm) and weighs a mere 7 grams.
If you’ve never flown a drone before, this seems like a good entry point. For starters, the Pico Drone comes equipped with the company’s own Ready to Fly Technology, meaning it has three levels of sensitivity to allow for easier control in even the tightest of spaces. At just $49, it’s also a super affordable way to earn your donee-flying stars.
After you’ve learnt the ropes, you’ll very soon be pulling off aerial flips, tricks and stunts with ease. See it in action below.:
As well as the drone itself, your package will include flight controls, a USB charging cable, and extra set of four rotor blades. The micro quadcopter is ready to fly right out of the box, so just throw it into the air and watch it go.
“The SKEYE Pico Drone is the smallest drone we’ve ever made and also the smallest drone in the world,” said a RRNDlabs press release. “It is so small, it can easily sit on your finger and fly on precision controlled exercises into the narrowest of nooks! The drone is designed to be taken everywhere and fits inside of its own controller.”
